The case against Robert Dui was brought by his ex-wife, Jane Dui, against him in 2017.
The jury is still deliberating, and their verdict is expected in February.
They were both sentenced to 10 years in prison in 2017, but after serving out their sentences they were released in 2018.
Jane Dui filed the lawsuit in 2017 after her ex-husband, Joseph Dui was found guilty of assaulting her and their four children.
The lawsuit was later amended and included an allegation of sexual abuse.
Dui is now representing himself.
